Profile.
Well, I'm a 21 year-old self-taught "artist" who is desperatly hoping she'll get published as a comic book artist, here in Switzerland...
I've learned just about everything I know for now using "the Art of..." animation books or by watching the tv screen after pushing the pause button.
My favorite artists that sometimes inspire me are: Glen Keane, Hayao Miyasaki, Tim Burton, Dave McKean, Egon Schiele, Juanjo Guarnido, Yslaire and Claire Wendling and some of you people here (check out my favourites, they're awesome).
What I listen to when I draw these days: Theatre of Tragedy, Pain of salvation, Within temptation, Lacuna Coil, Rammstein, Perfect Circle, Sisters of Mercy, Zeromancer, evereve, NIN, Pain, Tori Amos, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, John Wiliams...
What shows on TV while I'm drawing in front of it: six feet under season one and two and sometimes X-men evolution and Nip/Tuck.
Much more stuff on: http://kyla79.deviantart.com
